Paul shared from Matthew 23 and Luke 15 and looked at Marriage. Specifically that we find completeness in God not in each other.
Sunday at 10am Duncan Robinson examined Anxiety and Depression and how they interfere with the established Shalom of God. We looked at Philippians 4 and Matthew 6 as our critical passages to unpack this challenging topic.
Pastor Duncan spoke in the evening on the Wedding Feast. A parable from Matthew 22, it was a reminder that the parable is a proclamation of the Good News of Jesus Christ. That we should be challenging ourselves to release the truth of Jesus and allow it to speak for itself. It is one of the truly wonderful moments of faith sharing the Gospel and seeing lives changed.
Ben spoke at both AM and PM on the treasure in the field. Asking us what is it that we would sacrifice for intimacy with God. Are we willing to give up everything to possess the field and the incredible treasure that it holds.
At the 5pm service Pastor Duncan looked at the Parable of the Wise and Foolish Virgins from Matthew 25. We will always do the things that we love, and while we are surrounded by a wedding celebration it is important to not lose sight of the most important people in the room.
